You don't get a registration key with Steam. You must play Altitude by launching it from Steam. When you launch Altitude from Steam there is no login process it's all done automatically by Steam.

Negative. They will get the non-steam version. When purchased so that it is on Steam, it can't be tracked of who gave it, so no CP can be awarded.
