Altitude History?

How has Altitude done in the last few years? I loved Altitude and played it a lot in high school (2007-2010), but college was a really tough time for me so I wasn't able to play much, and soon lost interest/forgot about it.

Anyways I got a job in aviation after successfully graduating (thank god), and thinking about planes all day must have reminded me of this plane game I used to play! So I downloaded it this weekend and had an absolute BLAST.

Now I'd like to know what's happened in the community since I left. What are major events that happened, how much activity has there been, what are the major discussions/debates, etc. I'm very glad to see that the game is still alive and hope it stays that way for a long time.

Oh, and is anyone who played in the 2007-2010 timeframe still around?

im 09 and still around... the player base basically got down to a few dozens of players over the last few years, until the game was recently made F2P and now there's people online again. Ladder has remained active, even when there were very few players left.

if I may ask, what kind of job did you get?

For those of you who use IRC, there's a little altitude channel from the days of yore on quakenet (#tl.altitude). Sunshineduck, tyr, tec and other people are there.

Legend says they still talk about altitude sometimes.
