Can't play through "Play Now" link on website

I'm on a mac in my library and I can't download client because I don't have an administrator account. I can however play using the "Play Now" link on the main site. It was working fine for a few months,but now the link takes me to the Demo Download page.

What's wrong?

You know what, I found out what the problem was. The library computers have safari and firefox installed. I was on firefox when I tried PlayNow when I kept getting the error. I opened safari and it worked.

But I wasn't done. When I viewed the main page's source, I saw a line that redirects the user to the Downloads page if Java isn't detected. Long story short, the reason why it didn't work on firefox is because java was being blocked.
